Colby Island Campus
Join us for a spring clean-up day on The Island Campus, hosted by the Parents Executive Committee.
On Saturday, April 26, we’ll help prepare the islands for the diverse programming that benefits Colby students and faculty, as well as the greater St. George community. This year, we’ll be working on hiking trail maintenance as well as cleaning up Betsy’s Beach. Special guest Captain Doug Saunders, retired captain of the Otherworld, will join us to share insights into the island’s history and its hidden landscapes.
The College will provide clean-up supplies and lunch. This trip is free of charge.
Motorcoach transportation will be available from Waterville, with an option for pick-up at the Thomaston Park and Ride. Alternatively, you can meet us in Port Clyde (parking is available for the first 10 cars to register).
