Investing in Colby Today for a Brighter Tomorrow
The Parents Executive Committee (PEC) is a group of approximately 130 current Colby families who support, volunteer, and serve as ambassadors for the College. PEC families lead philanthropically, with annual contributions to the Colby Fund to ensure that each student’s experience is hallmarked by intellectual innovation across disciplines and meaningful connections that extend far beyond Mayflower Hill. This level of support for Colby’s enriching liberal arts education prepares each and every Colby student for life after college—empowering them to make their mark on the world in incredible ways.

Jen and Rich Mynahan, P’23, ’25
“As proud parents of a recent Colby graduate and a rising junior, we have enjoyed being a part of the PEC since 2019 in large part because it has enhanced our level of engagement with our children’s college experience. We have developed a better understanding of how campus life works, a deeper appreciation for the great work Colby’s leadership and faculty are doing, and feel more engaged as parents. By participating in the PEC and through our leadership giving, we are expressing our gratitude.”

Chad Tessier, Director of Family Philanthropy
Welcome from Mayflower Hill! I wish to congratulate you and your student on becoming members of the Colby family. We recognize that choosing Colby means that you’ve placed a tremendous amount of trust in our college and we are truly thankful. We believe you have chosen well! Your student will be challenged academically, and through valuable experiential learning opportunities such as internships, research, and study abroad, they will develop the professional and social skills critical for success post-Colby. Parents Executive Committee (PEC) members are vital members of the Colby community and support the College through investments of their time, talents, and philanthropic support. I invite you to join the PEC and become involved members of the Colby community.
