Further Information

Children ages 3 to 12 may attend the children’s program. Preregistration by May 23 is required. Children must be potty-trained to attend.

For children ages 3 to 5, there is a separate, supervised area with space for naps and age-appropriate toys. Children needing a nap should bring their own blanket and pillow.

Children must have socks (no bare feet). Shoes are required to use the climbing wall.

Parents are required to fill out a release form and must sign their children in and out of the program either at Colby or at the Alfond Youth Center. Parents must be available via cell phone in case of an emergency, and provide a secondary contact.

If your child has food allergies please note this when registering. The Alfond Youth Center can accommodate your child's needs and welcomes suggestions for alternative foods. You are also welcome to pack special snacks for your child.

Children should bring a bag or backpack for their belongings -- cubbies are provided. Items to bring include extra clothing, a sweatshirt, and perhaps a water bottle. Special snacks are also allowed and refrigeration is available at the youth center. Please clearly mark names on all items.

Parents can visit their child at any time at the youth center.
